Natural Disinfectant Spray Recipe

Todays recipe comes from my good friend Michele Lobback. http://www.sweetincome.scent-team.com/

I used it in my home yesterday. It’s excellent for two reasons: 1) ALL Natural!  2) Smells divine!

With Flu season here, and it appears to be spreading at a dynamic rate, we must protect our selves and our children!

I was able to purchase the ingredients at my local health food store very reasonably.

Things you need:

l6 oz. Dark glass spray bottle

1/2 cup natural castile soap, unscented, lavender or mint

1 cup distilled water

1/2 tsp. borax powder

1/2 tsp. tea tree oil

1/2 tsp. lavender essential oil

1/2 tsp. litsea cubeb essential oil

Clean cloth

Directions:

Measuer 1/2 cup of castile soap, add it to your spray bottle.

Pour 1 cup of distilled water into the spray bottle, add borax, tea tree oil, lavender oil , and litsea cubeb oil.

Shake bottle gently until all traces of the borax powder have completely dissolved.

Before each use, gently shake the bottle.

Spray an even mist on surfaces, allow to sit for 30 seconds, wipe away with clean cloth.

Store bottle in a cool, dark location.

This is a great idea, and it looks pretty easy to make. I do like to reduce the amount of chemicals that we use around the house for the sake of my kids and dogs. By the way, thanks for stopping by my blog.
